Pewter Care
Pewter is a soft metal, mostly made of tin. Modern pewter is lead free.
Pewter can be gently buffed and dusted with a clean, dry cloth. If your pewter item needs more of a clean you can use a silver polish where you rub the polish on with a cloth and buff it off with a separate clean cloth. Some items have been antiqued to look aged. These items have been waxed to preserve the finish. Dust these gently.
